Dr Mia Daras

B.Sc (Physiology, Microbiology, and Biotechnology)
MBChB  - University of Witwatersrand
Diploma in Primary Emergency Care (DipPEC)

I’m D. Mia Daras. Originally from Johannesburg, I now reside in the beautiful town of Somerset West, having moved to the Western Cape in 2024. I come from a proud Greek family and bring that strong sense of community and compassion into my medical practice. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, Microbiology, and Biotechnology, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of the Witwatersrand. My love for biology began early in life and grew into a deep passion for medicine and human physiology. What drives me in this field is the opportunity to be constantly learning while also making a meaningful impact in the lives of my patients.

I have a diverse background in emergency medicine, primary care, and evidence-based practice, and hold a Diploma in Primary Emergency Care (DipPEC). I also have a growing interest in dermatological and aesthetic medicine, with a focus on delivering holistic, patient-centered care. At the core of my approach is a strong belief in doing right by my patients— through holistic care, and always taking the time to educate.

I believe that when people understand their health, they are empowered to better manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. Outside of medicine, I enjoy cooking, reading, and staying active through pilates and running.

Dr Fatiema - GP-Med
Dr Fatiema West

MBChB - University of Stellenbosch

I'm Dr Fatiema West. I am a first-generation medical doctor, proudly Cape Malay and born and raised in the vibrant beach town of Strand, Cape Town. From an early age, I was deeply fascinated by the intricacies of human anatomy and physiology, a curiosity that evolved into a lifelong passion for medicine and community service.

I earned my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Stellenbosch University. My clinical journey began during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when I completed my internship at Mitchell’s Plain District Hospital  - serving a community very much like the one I come from. I went on to complete my community service at Mankweng Hospital in rural Limpopo, a formative experience that strengthened my dedication to women’s health and primary healthcare.

I also have a growing interest in paediatrics and mental health fields that allow me to walk alongside patients through all stages of care: from initial consultations to tertiary-level referrals when needed. My approach is rooted in providing holistic, evidence-based care, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development through engagement with current medical literature.

Outside of my clinical work, I am a proud wife and mother to a spirited three-year-old son. As one of eight siblings, I deeply value family and community. In my downtime, I enjoy reading fiction and spending quality time with loved ones.

Dr Nicole Daniels

MBChB - University of Cape Town

I’m Dr. Nicole Daniels, a proud graduate of the University of Cape Town’s MBChB program. From a young age, I’ve felt a deep calling to help others, which naturally led me to a career in medicine. I have a particular passion for primary health care and child health, and I truly believe that health is wealth. For me, it’s not just about treating illness—it’s about improving the overall quality of life for every patient I encounter.

Over the years, I’ve had extensive exposure to both Emergency Medicine and Primary Health Care, which has given me a well-rounded clinical foundation and strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. These experiences have deepened my commitment to community health and to making a tangible difference in people’s lives.

Outside the clinic, I love spending quality time with my husband and our two beautiful daughters. Cooking and reading are two of my favourite ways to unwind and recharge. Balancing work and family life can be challenging, but it’s also deeply rewarding and keeps me grounded in what matters most.
